The Study Tour Program is a K-12 DepEd curriculum & CHED requirement that connects classroom learning with real-world practice. Through a partnership between Casa Del Libro, Inc., The Bridgewater School and the International School - Thai Nguyen University (ISTNU), IRIS School and EDISON School in Vietnam. Student gain international exposure via academic seminars and cultural activities. The program develops professional readiness, global awareness and essential soft skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork and problem-solving.

STUDY TOUR PROGRAM

7-Day Study Program

Day 1 : 
Welcome & Orientation Day

  • Welcome meeting and orientation
  • Campus Tour
  • Vietnamese Cuisine Practice

Day 2  - 5 : 
Work Immersion Activities


  • Visit at different faculty
    • Agronomy Laboratory
    • Climate Change Park
    • AEP Office
    • Food Technology Laboratory

Day 2 - 5 : 
Hanoi Cultural Day

  • “The Thang Long-Hanoi Festival 2025 seeks to attract tourists and affirm Hanoi as both Vietnam’s political and cultural center, showcasing the nation’s diverse cultures and promoting Vietnamese heritage”
  • Watching Hanoi’s traditional water puppetry is a must-see experience for visitors to the city.


Day 2 - 5 : 
Vietnamese Culture Immersion

  • Traditional Vietnamese festivals are lively and colorful celebrations that reflect the country's cultural heritage and age-old Vietnamese culture and traditions. These celebrations provide a captivating insight into the rich history, spiritual beliefs, and agricultural customs of Vietnam.




 Day 6 : 
Educational Tour

  • Thai Hai Village (Thai Guyen)
  • Tea Farm / Enthic Museum



 Day 7 : 
Culmination & Departure

  • Study Presentations
  • Awarding of Certificates
  • Graduation Ceremony

Requirements

Visa Requirements

Visa is Free of Charge

Visa-Free (Short Stays)
  • 15 Days: Brunei, Myanmar. 
  • 21 Days: Philippines. 
  • 30 Days: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand. 
  • 45 Days (extended from 15 days): Japan, South Korea, Russia, Belarus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, UK.

  • India,

Can use the e-Visa system for up to 90 days (single/multiple entry).

Participants are responsible for all associated costs

Official Letter of Invitation

will be provided for the school and students, which must be presented at the Immigration Office in Manila before departure.

DSWD Approval Letter

For Students aged 17 years old and below, a DSWD Travel Clearance is required  (Coordination for this document must be made with the Study Tour Program Coordinator)

Exclusions


Meal in Hanoi and Sapa

Meals in Hanoi are not included. Food prices are generally affordable; it is recommended to provide your child with around Php250 pocket money for meals. A tour guide and volunteer will accompany the students for lunch and dinner.

Daily Breakfast of Students

There’s near convenient store around the area of the campus to buy sacks or food.

Travel Tax and Travel Insurance

Travel Tax: Excluded

  • Additional Check-in Baggage (optional will be paid at the airport)
